What is Tactic Training?

Tactic Training resources are designed to teach mathematical problem-solving strategies explicitly. Rather than treating problem solving as something that simply develops through practice, each resource has a specific strategy as its learning objective and uses a range of mathematical contexts to help pupils recognise when and how to apply it.
